KS1 LAN Issue

Got a new KS1 combo, connected it to my WiFi and fixed the IP address but it's a bit flaky, comes and goes so no good for printing. Upgraded to 2.5.9.9 so LAN works & gets another IP address. Make that a static IP on the router ok but every time I reboot the KS1 the IP changes. Suspect the usb can module as the mac address shows up as 00 00 00 00 xx yy

Anyone else had this issue? Anyone else got an Amazon usb lan module that works?
