Advice for adding second router

I was using Google Home Wifi plugged directly into an old Verizon router via ethernet. All devices on the LAN connected wirelessly to Google Home Wifi, and it handled DHCP.

I've now added ScreenBeam 2.5 on the WAN side of the Google Home Wifi. I think this means that I now need to disable DHCP on my Google Home and instead configure the Verizon router to do DHCP. Does this sound correct? Are there other options?
