Newer video card on older platform.

I’m running an older system and it’s about time to upgrade. I have an i7-8086 on a ROG Z370 mainboard with a GTX 1080ti GPU.

Now my first thought was to just buy a whole new computer. I’ve built them in the past, but I’m older now and I like the simplicity of just buying a custom one and let someone else build it for me. I’m looking at about $3200 for what I want.

Then I thought that since prices are up right now, maybe I can slowly upgrade starting with the GPU. I’m looking at the Radeon 9070 XT Red Devil, and am curious if there would be compatibility issues by putting it into my current system?
