FIDE's Awful Production Value

What on earth is going on with FIDE Rapid and Blitz? As a spectator it is basically unwatchable.

If you want to watch a specific player's game, you get a livestream of the board where there's a 1+ minute delay between players making moves and the digital board updating. And even worse today the digital boards were removed entirely. The only thing shown was a video of the board from side view - are they really expecting us to mentally rotate the board 90 degrees to figure out what's happening??

Every time without fail FIDE finds a way to ruin their tournament coverage. Is it so hard to do a test run beforehand to check the technical details are working?

...and a note for the future, FIDE, please stop covering half of a game and then switching to a different one. No one wants to watch two half-chess-games.
