Impark parking notice at Costco Vancouver

We were visiting Vancouver over the weekend and shopped at the downtown Costco, not knowing that we had to pay for parking upon arrival. Tried to contact them twice and they refused to cancel the notice as a one-time courtesy. What are our options here? If we leave it outstanding, would there be any repercussions? Impacting our US credit score? Getting sued in small courts?
