2019 Oil consumption 40k miles burns 1 qt every 3k miles - cheap fix? Pcv or 0-30w oil?

What are the chances is the PCV valve, despite what VW says, it’s not normal to fill 3 quarts every 10k miles, such a waste of oil plus the inconvenience of getting the warning light every 3k miles.

Any success stories with any of these possible fixes? New pcv or change oil viscosity.
