Little “BOOM” sounds at night

What are these little explosion kind of sounds at night? It wasn’t happening in my neighborhood before, I live close to the beach, but i’ve started hearing them especially a lot tonight.

I don’t think they are fireworks because this isn’t the first time i am hearing, and I don’t see any visuals afterwards even though the sounds are coming from a close distance. It sounds more like a fake explosive.

Do you think these are teenagers playing around or something else? Otherwise i am going to make a formal complain soon to 911.
