Weekly literature or philosophy reading group

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to find people with similar interests in person, since it’s surprisingly hard to build a steady social routine outside of school or work. I was thinking of either starting a philosophy reading group (we’d read a paper or short text and then meet weekly to discuss it) or a literature book club that’s more discussion-focused and committed than a casual drop-in group.

For the literature option, I’m inclined toward literary fiction rather than genre fiction. The general vibe would be authors like Han Kang, Michel Houellebecq, John Williams, Iris Murdoch, Virginia Woolf, Bukowski, Nabokov, J.D. Salinger, Mary Gaitskill, etc. The idea would be to read the same book together in parts and meet weekly to discuss as we go.

If you’re interested in either of these options, DM me!
