Resonating Shield & Armor Explosion

Tl:dr do support gems affect other support gems which add “skills” to skills they are socketed in?

The tooltip for the Armor Explosion gem states that it converts 100% of base attack damage from physical to fire damage. If I use the elemental armament support gem along with the armour explosion support gem on resonating shield will it buff the converted fire damage of the armor explosion as well?
