New Research Funding Pathway

2025 has been really hard with lots of labs losing their funding. Even in a good year though we waste a third of our time writing grant proposals. My colleagues are almost never working on what they actually want to study - and instead it's always something "safe" and less imaginative that the NIH or NSF is willing to fund.

I wanted to share a website called Catalyze I've used that allows researchers to share their proposals and directly raise funding online from the public rather than just through private applications to agencies or foundations.
