Nursing pre-reqs

Realistically… how long does it take to finish with your nursing pre reqs at a community college ??? Is it a year? Two? I’m from California and I was thinking about going to CC for my nursing degree but also I don’t want to be broke for too long bc I know it might be a little hard working and studying. I was thinking about going to Unitek for an accelerated LVN program but it’s a lot of money so I don’t know I have been a little indecisive and I would like some help here :/
