Best things to see and do?

Hi, I'll be visiting vancouver in the summer, coming from the UK. I plan to be around the city for 3 days max, I'm interested in history, art, and animals. Is there anything that is a "must go see" that I should take my time for? Nothing with a lot of walking please. Also what is the best mode of transport for getting around? Thank you!
