Offline multiplayer with bots, no internet connection, and no PS Plus.

Hello everyone. I have never played any part of the Call of Duty series, and I want to try Black Ops 3, but there is one catch. I am not interested in PvP against other players. I want to play multiplayer modes offline against bots. Can I do this on my PS5 without Wi-Fi and without PS Plus? The problem is that there are incidents where people complain that the “Multiplayer” button does not work and appears greyed out. In that case, the game would lose all meaning for me, because the offline multiplayer with bots is accessed through that button. Please help and explain this to someone who understands the situation.
