Preferences: age and looks, dating vs arranged marriage

35M, Haven’t dated first 30 years of my life as I was in India and dating was rare or just culturally conditioned for arranged marriages.

But last 5 years living/working in europe I was introduced to dating and to my surprise I went to lots of first dates and few short term relationships with attractive European girls.

But I also have lots of family pressure all these years to get arranged married but I was open to that as I was single most of the times but somehow I am not able to connect to the indian girls and don’t feel that attractive to them (but I had crushes on Indian girls while growing up in India though)

I am always confused whether should pursue Indian girls as it’s easier long term because cultural compatibility.

or should I date around (outside my culture) and find out the right partner myself.

I also think about marrying someone for the life (which is not guaranteed considering divorce rates in western countries)

I am sorry if I am generalising anybody, but most of my brain cycles I am involuntary spending on figuring out what I want? Casual dating or Marriage or kids?
