heard about a woman faking a disorder years ago for disability checks and attention

My late dad was a landlord. He had a tenant who was in her wheelchair couldn't walk who would always collect different types of disability checks. They went to the same church and they'd announce her at church that she needed help for her disabilty. then one day his business partner who also ran the building walked past the laundry room and she was skipping.
