[TOMT] [TV/Media] [90s/2000s] Semi Pokemon-esque like Anime (or Cartoon) where love and support empowered a creature during a battle?

It's been absolutely years (8 or more) since I've seen it and I honestly have no idea what it could be. Google isn't helping me, and I could have totally dreamt of this but the basis of it is:

- Semi-Pokemon like, where there were the creatures that they had that would battle! Some type of challenges apply.

- It involved some type of arena / dueling grounds. I remember a few other characters in the side-lines watching as the fight happened.

- The character was (I think) a younger woman who only had cute and or weak creatures and they were up against a stronger opponent.

- The creature was definitely weak with weak abilities, but gained power from love and encouragement from it's handler and somehow came out on top in a turn of events. ( This is the main feat that I am thinking of, where it just gained more strength through being loved and supported which gave it the chance to overcome the more powerful enemy )

- The creature was pink-ish, maybe?

- Animation style, like Digimon / Pokemon, Anime-ish looking rather than traditional Cartoony style. Cutesy, vibrant, colorful. Love and all that.

I'm beginning to think it was just dream I had and it's hitting me in my adulthood. Any help would be appreciated! Or tell me it was all a psychosis daydream. That would work, too.
