Unable to access to Gathering Hub quests on PS5 (no PS+)

Hey good hunters!

Am I supposed to be locked out of Gathering Hub quests on PS5 with no PS+ sub?

I’m simply unable to start the online mode. It prompts me with the PS+ selection screen where I can choose the three tiers.

I don’t recall having this problem on PS4… Was this changed in an update?
