Is my package lost or is it not updating?

So I’ve had this happen before. I use eBay and the shipping doesn’t always update on USPS.

I used UPS to try a location near me. It was very small and maybe not the same thing as other UPS?

It shows dropped off at the store. It was yesterday I shipped in the morning.

I called the UPS store and they said the packages dropped off yesterday were just picked up this morning.

Is it just not updating very often? I assume it could be holiday season?
