Transferring from the DC to the Stores

I’m currently working in a Distribution Center (DC) and I’m considering transferring to a store. I’m planning to start a medical field program at school soon, so I really need a role with a more flexible schedule.

A few questions for anyone who has gone through this or is currently in a store role:

1. How flexible are the store schedules compared to the DC? The program classes are said to be fixed and non-flexible, so I was hoping the store could provide some flexibility with my work schedule

2. What are the health benefits like for store associates? Are there health benefits for part time employees?

3. How does the pay compare between DC roles and store positions?
