Is it possible to get a high rank while still in hs?

Idk if this is just a stupid question but I’ve been playing for abt a year now and have been having trouble ranking up. I play mostly senti and controller and I usually do okay. I don’t often top frag but I rarely bottom frag either. and I’m trying to hit diamond (ik it’s not considered high but to me it is) and I’ve been stuck in bronze since I started playing. thing is I don’t have a lot of time to play ~an hour max on weekdays and maybe ~4 hours max across the whole weeken. I feel like my aim and gamesense is okay but everytime I’m about to rank up I either get team diffed or I play like absolute shit. is it just a matter of me needing more time to play or is it a me problem because between school and my job I don’t rly have a lot of time to grind this game.
