What would a new class play like? How would it be different to the rest? How could it make lore sense?

Aside from the obvious one who else would fatshark add? How could they make this unique?

Personally am getting tired of different favour of generic human every new class so why not another abhuman? Why not beastmen?

From what I know beastmen were guardsmen, zealots, bounty hunters on Nercomunder and factory workers in the imperium. They would be sent in as a horde and charge the enemy frontline, used first in a fight as disposable cannon fodder instead of humans who are considered more valuable to the imperium than beastmen, that are seen widely as chaos mutants with many of their population at risk of being genocide within the imperium at any moment. Lore wise it would make sense for the inquisition to capture and kill beastmen on mass by using them as disposable troops to keep other more human rejects alive rather then wasting ammunition and manpower on genocide.

Class wise Beastman bannerman?

One of those big imperium banners could be carried by a player beastmen who corrals other beastmen into fighting and customise like the dog, could see this being used to summon beastmen troops with the option to pick on talent tree guardsmen, zealots, factory workers, they are weaker then players but can be spawned with the flag and directed around to hold positions or attack the enemy. Guard beastmen get lasguns, zealot swords, and factory workers are many but poorly equipped and much weaker. Maybe different formations? Square formation is better for Defense against melee while arrow formation is better for attacking against melee? Rectangle formation better Defense against ranged? These formations would provide buffs to your teammates as well if they stand inside.

This would be really unique and some might say this is too technically difficult for fatshark to pull off but we did get a necromancer horde summoner in vermintide and dog in darktide so this would be the next step.

Anyway what do you think? Does it make any sense or am I a heretic for suggesting this?
