Shipment stuck with clearance delay

My package is stuck at Cincinnati for the last 10 days. I've already paid the customs duty within minutes of getting the message about it. I get "customs delay" related email every day in my mailbox. The tracking website says:

Further processing will occur as instructed by the regulatory authority. A DHL representative shall attempt to contact the importer or shipper if further details are required

I haven't received any further message from DHL regarding any other requirements. Is there a way to see the further progress or waiting is my only option?
