Wanting to use minoxidil with cats

Hi!! I have alopecia and want to use minoxidil.

I’ve used it years ago but ever since I got a new kitten last year, I’ve stopped, but my hair has fallen out. :(

I do have another cat that I’ve had for majority of my life and minoxidil has never been an issue for her, I’ve always taken the right safety precautions.

I’m just worried to start again since my newer cat is so young and curious and jumps on everything and gets everywhere.

I reallyyyy don’t want to be a bald teen girl, but I also don’t want my cat to die.

Please if anyone has advice or uses topical minoxidil with cats let me know how you work around this.
