Golfing in cold 🥶 - Walking makes the difference
Just finish a round with sunny skies, 5-8mph breeze, but 33-35 degrees out. I have played in the 30s before and always walked. This was my first time riding due to others wanting to ride. Never again…even if the next time peeps are riding, I’m 100% walking. I had fun but something about riding when it’s cold really throws you out of sync. Even if ur dressed warm, the cold cuts in while in the cart and you get stiff. I kept taking a jacket off and on due to snippets of warmth walking to ball. My drives were slicing way more than normal. Im usually a low 80s player at 10hcp, shot my worst round in years at 95 on an easy track.
I know this sounds stupid obvious to many, but if you ever decide to do a colder than avg day, walk! It keeps the juices flowing showing for better scores.
