The obligatory I’ve been married for 17+ years and in a dead-bedroom situation for about 3.5 years

What keeps drawing me back here is the search for that person — the one who can keep a conversation going, who shares a genuine connection.

The good morning / good night texts, the “how was your day?” texts, and the “you won’t believe what just happened to me” calls (I am a clutch sometimes so this happens more times than I like to admit!) . While the flirty texts are nice, they aren’t what I’m looking for right out of the gate. The kind of connection I want takes time, effort, and intention.

About me: 40, 6’2”, red hair, green eyes (basically a rarity - less than 2% of the earths population 😄). No six-pack, but also not a Shape — Lately, I have tried to take better care of myself losing close to 40#'s and still going strong! I love to cook, camp, and travel (RV)( I’m too old for sleeping on the ground). I enjoy hunting and fishing (cue Luke Bryan), music, movies. I am Loyal (yes I understand the irony), caring (truly want what is best for everyone in my life), and funny. I have one daughter (13 going on 30) , and have a professional career and pride myself on being very communicative — that has to go both ways. I’m usually introverted at first, but once I feel comfortable the extroverted me comes out!

What I’m looking for: someone kind, funny, pleasant to be around, and passionate about their hobbies (they don’t have to match mine — opposites attract, right?). Someone who values communication, emotional connection, and mutual respect.. I do understand physical attraction matters, so I’m open to exchanging pictures when it feels right.
