what is the healthiest dry food, treat, litter & wet food for my cat?
i am a very stressed out cat owner rn. this is my first cat and i’m trying to give my cat the healthiest versions of everything (within my budget) im really trying to optimize his health and happiness, i just want him to be as healthy as i can afford. but the issue im running into is the fact that there’s so so so much contradiction online, when i try to do research on the internet on what to buy i keep seeing that usually one person praises one brand then another person doesn’t, and opposes it and i cant figure out what is actually best bc of all the disagreement that seems to circulate online and then also theres just SO MANY DIFFERENT ONES. the pure variety and sheer amount of choices is paralyzing.
the one im currently using for kibble is Natures Menu which i saw praised on reddit. I really hope everyone here is in agreement on that brand?
But I really cannot find an agreed-upon good wet food to save my life. I read a top 10 best wet food brands article, but it was only very expensive ones and subscription delivery models you can’t even buy at the store, and I would much rather choose one that I can get myself…. I don’t really think i want a subscription delivery thing I would much rather buy it myself at a store. AndI would prefer it to be cheaper than the prices of those which was around $50 for only 12 cans?
what would you guys say is the healthiest wet food you don’t have to buy online, preferably less than $50/12 cans?
now in addition to this i also wanted to know best cat litter brand because i frequently see things about cats having bad reactions to their litter. i am currently using tidy cats litter, its clumping, but i kind of hate it because the clumps just fall apart and disintegrate making it very hard to properly clean litterbox because they don’t stick together an then there’s tiny pices of bad litter in his litter and its a hassle. so i want to change. curious what the best brand is, thats healthiest for my cat & the clumps actually stay together?
I also feed him these lickable chicken treats he really likes that are frm heartland farms, was wondering if they’re good. And i’m trying to find dental treats that really work because he won’t let me brush his teeth. So im mainly looking for the most effective dental treat because he won’t cooperate when i try to brush them so i might be relying exclusively on dental treats for a while until he comes around.
