Sensory Sensitivities?
Anyone else extremely sensory sensitive to things? Examples: My nose is better than any bloodhound out there! I can smell my grandson's dirty bottom from another room. A younger woman walked past me and I could smell her cycle (the copper, metallic smell). Seriously, it's so annoying! It's been helpful once or twice because I noticed a burning smell and we had a wire short out in our water heater...I was inside on the other side of the house, and the water heater is outside. Could also smell the humidity dampness when we had a water leak under our house. But uggg!
Then, the vibrations are driving crazy! Like seriously, I feel my brain is going to vibrate out of my head sometimes. It feels like an earthquake echoing inside my body. The heater/ac kicks on and I start vibrating. A large vehicle drives by my house and I feel the vibration. And never mind the vibration, nausea and dizziness I feel when we actually do have an earthquake, which in Texas are pretty mild!
And my hearing...I can't hardly hear my husband speak, but I can hear the traffic coming from a mile away from the stop light. Mind you, my husband has a low tone voice, speaks softer (unless he's mad), and often turns away from me or tries speaking to me from another room. But typically sounds are so overwhelming now, it's often hard for me to focus on one sound and filter the rest... like I used to do.
