Any Mods' (or other's) thoughts on touchscreen laptops and false bans?

Is there any definite info from Mods or Jagex on using a touchscreen laptop, specifically with Runelite? Or does anyone use one constantly without issues?

It seems like it wouldn't be an issue at all since mobile is a thing, but I found a few horror stories online of people saying they got temp banned while using a touchscreen laptop.

Just curious if there's any info on this. I'm not seeing anything definite online about it, just a mix of people saying it's fine and people saying not to risk it.
