I'm just annoyed.

I spent a 100 dollars on my boyfriend's dad's Christmas gift and got a letter of God's word and a gift card to a restaurant to eat at with my boyfriend. I'm atheist. He's not using the gift card on me, but instead using it on his friend just because I don't like the restaurant. I spent the last hours of my birthday alone. I was expecting to spend some time with him, but instead I just see him gaming away with his friends until late at night. It was my goddamn birthday. He got me a gift that I can't even use and it just made me think, does he even know what I like and what I use. Then I just spiraled into thought that instead of the times he spends on tiktok and reddit couldn't you just have conversed with me? Ask me more questions and found more about me. It's been three years into dating and it's just frustrating.
