Fortnite feels impossible for casual players now

Is anyone else just completely done with how sweaty Fortnite has become? I’m not even trying to go pro or anything. I just want to hop on, play a few games, maybe get a win if I’m lucky. Instead, every single lobby feels like FNCS finals. I land, grab a grey AR, and 30 seconds later I’m getting triple-edited on by someone with 200 APM who hasn’t seen sunlight since Chapter 1. It feels like there’s no space for casual players anymore. Skill-based matchmaking is either broken or just doesn’t exist, because I’m constantly going up against players who are way above my level. I don’t have time to grind creative for hours just to keep up. I miss when Fortnite was actually fun and goofy, not just box fights and piece control every fight. Losing is part of the game, sure, but when winning feels literally impossible, it just kills the motivation to play. Am I just bad, or has Fortnite become way too sweaty for normal players?
