Halo Show

With the halo show on Netflix I heard bad things about it and obviously for valid reasons but should I watch it like is it bad but so bad it’s good? or like a good show if you ignore the canon? Or if you ignore it as a halo show I’m curious bc my brother Convinced me to watch it to get my own opinion but on it as he’s 3 episodes in. So any advice on the show would be good
