**Emei(峨嵋)** is a **causal PVE** guild meant for **English** speaking players in **North America!** For lore lovers - our name originates from a fictional martial arts sect mentioned in several works of wuxia fiction. It is commonly featured as one of the leading orthodox sects in the jianghu, along with the likes of the Shaolin and Wudang sects. It is named after the place where it is based, Mount Emei (thanks Wikipedia).

We're a relatively new guild (about 3 weeks) at level 5 with 70+ players, with a pretty balanced mix of East, Central, and West Coast players. We have 3 regular Guild Hero's Realm parties and a nice group of players engaging in weekly guild content (Breaking Army & Showdown).

Our goal is to create a friendly environment where people can try out content together, but also **do not feel the pressure to participate.** **Discord is not required but recommended for scheduling purposes** (especially if you're interested in weekly Guild Hero's Realm). We welcome both silent solo explorers and casual pve gamers, as long as you follow our rules.

Feel free to join us by applying in game!

**Rules**

* Be **polite** \- we're here to enjoy the game together.
* Respect each other's **time**. If you arranged a raid together, try to show up on time and if you can't, let others know asap.
* Let us know if you will be gone from the game for more than **2 weeks** (if you go mia without leaving a notice we might kick you if we need space - but you're welcome back anytime!)
* Please change your server **nickname to your WWM ign** (guests and guild members alike). If your nickname cannot be identified we will remove you from the server during regular server cleanups. (Click Emei (top left server name) > edit per-server profile > server nickname)
* We have **2 custom roles**: **Disciple** (2k points) and **Elder** (3k points). It doesn't come with any real material benefits but is used to recognize members contributing points to the guild. Disciples can recruit guild members, and Elders can recruit guild members and initiate guild construction.

**Guild Events**

1. Daily **Guild party** autostarts at **8:00 PM EST (7:00 PM CST | 5:00 PM PST)**, so drop by if you want to chill with others.
2. Weekly **Breaking Army** (guild pve tagmatch) will take place on **Saturdays 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM EST (5:00 PM and 8:00 PM CST | 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM PST).** Both times we'll fight the **same boss** to maximize guild participation.
3. Weekly **Showdown** (guild 1:1 pvp) will take place on **Saturdays at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM EST (6:00 PM and 9:00 PM CST | 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM PST).** We're not a pvp guild so this event isn't going to be promoted regularly, but it will be there every week if you want to goof around with other guild members.
4. Weekly **Guild Hero's Realm** depart on Friday and Saturday evenings. We currently have 3 regular groups: **Group 1 - Fridays at 9:00 PM EST (8:00 PM CST | 6:00 PM PST),** **Group 2 - Fridays at 10:00 PM (9:00 PM CST | 7:00 PM PST),** **Group 3 - Saturdays at 11:00 PM (10:00 PM CST | 8:00 PM PST).** We have a fixed roster for these groups at around 9/10 for stability and flexibility, so that we can pick up new members or others with irregular schedules. We will arrange new groups every time we reach critical mass (6+, at least 1 of each role). Until then, we encourage guild members to join these regular groups from time to time when slots open up (we'll do a last call in discord and in game when slots open - last calls we will most likely take anyone from any role on a first come first served basis).
5. We have a lfg channel in our discord server where guild members can coordinate sword trial / hero realm groups throughout the week.
6. These times are flexible - we can change guild party times and other guild event times as needed.
