Looking for Advice on positive male role models
Hi everyone! I have a three-year-old son, and I’ve been thinking a lot about making sure he has positive male influences in his life. I’ve even considered the idea of a male nanny, but I wanted to hear what others have done first.
I know he’s still very young, but I sometimes worry that not having a consistent male figure might affect him later on, especially in ways I might not be able to teach or guide him myself.
For those in similar situations, what has worked for you? Do you focus on extracurricular activities, spending time with male family members, mentors, coaches, or something else? Has anyone here had experience with a male nanny?
I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks!
Backstory: His father was involved early on, but when my son was about two, his father chose to step away and is no longer involved in his life.
