Budget homestays in Rishikesh or Nearby? [Help]

Hey everyone! I'll be visiting Uttarakhand in about a week and I'm planning a budget trip. I'm looking for simple homestays or family-run places that offer homely food.

I'd really prefer to stay with locals or in places you personally know/recommend, especially if they're affordable and in peaceful areas. If you're from Uttarakhand or know someone who runs a homestay, I'd love to connect.
