Brown Discharge

I am currently on Day 28 of my cycle. I usually get my period around Day 36. One of my typical signs of ovulation is brown discharge, which I experienced on Days 14 and 15, so I assumed I ovulated then. However, yesterday and today (Days 27 and 28), I started experiencing bloating along with brown discharge again. This is unusual for me and is causing some concern. Could this be an early sign of pregnancy, or could there be another explanation? My partner and I engaged in sexual activity around day 18 and 19 of my cycle.
