Want to get hired?
I see lots of advice seeking about interviews. Starbucks has a very sepcific culture and if you want to get hired by starbucks you have to act like your sole source of happiness in life is making the customer happy. Keywords that managers will like are " connections (making connections , making genuine connections, connecting with customers)" And "perfecting the craft (i love perfecting every skill i start, i love the craft and i want to perfect it) ". Tell them you see yourself going long term in the company and would love to grow with the team. They will ask for you to talk about a time you've had to settle a disagreement or something that would show you can deal with difficult people or keep emotions out of a situation, make something up if you dont have a good one, they dont care.
They want mindless smiling robots with open availability and no personal life that can throw out picture perfect drinks in 5 seconds. If you can make them believe you're that person they will hire you.
Also if you they dont get back to you after a week then move on, they know by the end of second interview if they are hiring you and will let you know. If they are not discussing the dates for your onboarding by then its not looking good.
Everything moves fast in this company and thats hiring included. Once hired you're expected to pick up everything right away and will tell you it'll take 3-6 months before you start to actually get it. That 3-6 months is when they will decide if your worth extra training or be let go. You have to do heavy lifting , deal with verbal abuse tooth a smile and deal with fast paced multitasking with multiple auditory things happening at once that you have to pay attention to.
