ancient fuelweaver immune to gunpowder?

I hit him with two stacks gunpowder (80 which does 16000 hp damage), mf has 16000 hp. How is he still alive like nothing happend? Ps i know that i must delay every stack by 10 sec. and that u can't hurt him in that one phase.
