Just finished platinum on Dark Souls 1 and what else to stick around for?

I have finished half way to NG++ and earned full achievement on Dark Souls 1 as my first souls trilogy. Finished DLC and got all tail weapons too. Loved the game as a souls beginner, learned about amazing lores, explored fully and was impressed by the interconnected world. This is the first game ever that I felt reluctant to finish my first run ever because it was beyond memorable.

In addition, I enjoyed the online aspect of the game. I was summoned multiple times to help other players to lower the faith requirement for covenant and it was great.

Before moving on to Dark Souls 2, what are more things for me to stick around for in DS1? Of course I will play for more NG to learn more about the game mechanics and perfect run efficiency. I also intend to learn PVP and the builds for it (partially because I want to learn how to deal with invaders who invaded me at the worst times possible).
