30 [NB4R] Los Angeles - Building SASS tarot group in SoCal

MY VISION: A SASS tarot group that meets online and/or in-person in Southern California (mainly LA or OC), at least once every 3 months. (low commitment!)

Open to ALL experience levels, you don't even need your own tarot deck or even know what tarot is (I didn't know diddlysquat about tarot when I bought my first deck lol). I just want to find people who are willing to learn & engage!

MEETUP TOPICS: Topics related to tarot, personal lives, community or world events. Generally focused on study/activities/practice, such as: practicing reading spreads, sharing reading techniques, trying out others' ways of reading, doing exercises from workbooks. Would eventually love to try other witchy things together, such as spells or rituals, because it's fun trying new stuff with others and not just by myself!

WHO I WANT TO MEET: All ages 18+ welcome. Open to all ethnicities, genders, backgrounds, with the understanding that my priority is poc, queer, neurodivergent, non-cis-men. If you don't understand - or at least have curiosity - why this is important, please go make another space of your own.

COMMUNICATION & COMMITMENT: A Discord server would be easiest for me, mainly for sharing information and details. Please note, I can be a slow communicator, and I mean for this to be sustainable long-term rather than exploding interest short-term. I don't expect nor want constant communication between meetups; I just want to have this group as an outlet for the times we DO want to meet and chat! Friends & other acquaintances are totally allowed as well :)

ABOUT ME: she/her, Viet from Orange County (where all socal viets are born lol amirite), now in the South Bay. Been into tarot since 2020, my first deck was a panda-themed tarot deck and now I have 40 super cool tarot decks, aaand I would love to have more tarot friends. I want to connect more with local people and expand my sense of "home" around LA/OC. Other interests include: chonky tuxedo cat named Suzy, board games (Wingspan is one of my all-time favorites), journaling & stationery, and facilitating group meetups & events.
