Spearhead: Seraphon (Carnosaur version) vs Sylvaneth

I got smacked by Sylvaneth. How to play to win? Which abilities to choose? I feel like going for Healing instead of the Damage makes more sense. Doesnt feel like it makes sense fighting them to kill them. I really felt powerless against them. At the End, they almost had all units on the field while i remained with a couple of Saurus Warriors and 10 points difference.
