Need Boots/Pants for EMS Course

Hi everyone,

I am starting an EMS course at the end of January. I need boots/pants for the lab section of the course/ride alongs. I am a poor college student and can’t afford 5.11 pants that my instructor recommended. What are some cheap, yet reliable brands for pants/boots? I heard the Walmart Interceptor boots are decent enough. I have no idea about pant recommendations. Please help! (I plan to spend good money on boots/pants once I actually work, but for now this is just for the course.)

Also, I am a woman. I heard it can be hard for women to find tactical pants that fit.
