Who gets phone calls these days?

I get plenty of text messages and email from friends, family, and business contacts, but I’ve noticed recently I rarely get a phone call from someone I want to speak to, especially one at an unplanned time. Plenty of calls from people I DON’T want to speak to however.

I dug into my call history and I only see about 2 calls a month that I wanted, so I’ve stopped making sure my phone is close by when I’m at home. Am I the only one like this, or has the world moved away from voice calls?
