I’m losing my mind lmao

Ok this is going to sound really petty and I shouldn’t be so pissed off about this, but I am so yippee.

For some context:

1.) in August, I borrowed some hiking shoes from my grandmother because I was a counselor at a sleepaway camp

2.) from September to last Thursday I was studying abroad in Japan

3.) my mother went through my room without my permission while I was in Japan and constantly berated me over messages for being messy. Whatever.

4.) about three weeks ago, my family went on vacation to the Caribbean. My grandmother stayed a night in my family’s apartment, in my room, to make it easier for collective travel since I was not using the room.

A few days before I left for Japan, I tried to return the hiking boots to my grandmother when we were having lunch at a restaurant. However, my grandmother forgot the boots, so I returned to my place with the boots, and then went to Japan.

My mother has had three months to get these stupid shoes to my grandmother. She tried once in November but my grandmother once again forgot them in the restaurant apparently.

I am still jet lagged and was trying to take a nap today when my mom wakes me up, asking to run an errand. Okay, annoying, but whatever.

“Take these shoes to your grandma. By the way, idk where you are, but your grandmother said she saw them when she was here before we left for vacation.”

So one, I can’t delay this chore by a day because otherwise the blueberries I’m also supposed to give to my grandma will go bad. But my mom can just not do it for three months?

Second, my grandmother couldn’t take these stupid shoes WHEN SHE WAS HERE?

Third. I’ve been looking for these shoes in my room for the last theory minutes. They are not here, and I’ve barely touched my room other than to put clothes away and sleep. These fucking shoes are not here and if they were my mom should know since she’s the one who insisted of GOONG THROUGH MY STUPID ROOM. But no. She doesn’t. And I just have to look some more.
