Elective selection help

I am trying to do Bcom, with a major in actuarial science, and am unsure what elective to select in my first year, and does it have to be an elective or can it be a breadth subject too as in the sample course plan on the unimelb website shows an elective. If you could kindly drop your recommendations down below, not only for this year but for the whole course which could ease my future in trying to become an actuary, thx.
