Christmas Break Reality Check

Hey all,

I wondered if I might be able to reach out for some moral support and encouragement!

I’ve had a really successful year weight loss wise, I’ve been really consistent with tracking and exercising and I’ve lose a good amount of weight with just about 10lbs to go until my goal weight.

December was a slow month loss wise, which is to be expected now I’m closer to my goal and I haven’t been super stressed. I’ve changed my whole lifestyle in the past year and that’s something to be proud of.

However over the past week I decided to give myself a vacation from tracking and my usual deficit because it’s Christmas and I love eating and seeing my friends and family and celebrating.

Now I know in my brain that this isn’t true but I have this overwhelming feeling that I’m going to step on the scale in the next few days and I will have put all the weight back on and won’t be able to get back on track and have ruined my life.

I wondered if I could just ask for some reassurance that getting back on track will be easy and that everyone else has also indulged and isn’t stressing out?

Thanks!
