Think about hero balance beyond just high/low elo.

Weather its people commenting in-game or Youtubers/influencers they usually describe how a hero works relative to how its played in high or low/qp matches. But i feel like there is a distinct difference between silver and diamond/grandmaster and people tend to group these all up together and usually mean "high elo/rank" to mean Celestial and above, but if that were the case then whatever is good in "high rank" would not be applicable to 95%+ of the player population.

(40%ish population) I feel like low rank is anything you get the chrono shield bonus for ranking up. this allows people with 35-45% win rates to easily rank up. This IMO, is low rank.

(30%ish of the population) Mid tier ranking is plat and diamond. These people generally know how to play, they are just not good.

(25%ish of the population) High rank is Grandmaster and Celestial. These ranks are generally for people who are actually good at the game.

(1-2% of the population)Elite ranks or Eternity and 1 Above All are truly competitive games played by people who are good and take the game seriously.
