How bad is calling it quits and just getting the BA gen 3 year econ degree?

GENERAL QUESTION (Not on Admissions)

I've spoken to advisors and the career people at the uofm, they were little help, but basically my situation is the following. Im in my third year of econ, can graduate with a gen BA this year, well technically next, if I just take a single summer class. The reason I'm even considering this as someone who is in the adv ba rn, is because I've kinda lost hope with this degree being something helpful for me to pursue. This is due to career concerns and I definitely think finance may benefit me more esp in canada, and I spoke to an advisor who let me know I can do a masters in Finance with the 3 year econ, so that is tempting. However, will I basically be screwing myself by just having a Gen 3 year degree for junior or entry positions atm? Idk kinda rambling, if anyone has personal experience in either let me know! Enjoy yalls break
