Airpods 3, case lost

I had AirPods 3, I lost the case of that but the buds are still with me, what can I do right now, should I get a new AirPod or should I just get a case(very expensive).

If you have any advice on how to use/charge my buds so that I don’t need to spend money on new airpods again, please let me know.
