Cannot for the life of me retrieve package from overgoods

I shipped a package to a friend of mine, but he had a typo in the address he sent me so it wasn't able to be delivered. Package was sent to be returned to me, but I wasn't aware of this and it sat at my local shipping and receiving center for more than a week. I'm told it got sent to overgoods and to call the 800 463 3339 number to retrieve it.

After a multitude of calls, neither the AI or people that i spoke to could get me connected with overgoods. I went back to the local facility today and they were able to open a case for me (not supposed to happen like that to my knowledge) but they told me I still need to call to forward the package from overgoods. I can't manage to make any progress from here. Any help? Thanks
