New to mutual funds - need advice on portfolio and fund picks
Hey everyone, I’ve been doing trading for a while and now I’m planning to start investing in mutual funds.
I just got my first job, and I want to build a solid mutual fund portfolio. My current plan is to divide my investment into three buckets:
✔️ Large Cap
✔️ Flexi Cap
✔️ Small Cap
I’m early 20s and want to SIP for 10–15 years or maybe more, increasing the SIP amount gradually every year.
Questions for the pros here.
1.Is this allocation (Large + Flexi + Small Cap) a good strategy for long‑term growth?
2.What percentage split would you recommend between these categories?
3.Any specific mutual fund recommendations for each category?
4.Any general tips for someone just starting SIPs?
5.Also hearing about index funds any tips?
Thanks in advance! 🙌
